Autumn Watch. BBC 2.

From episode 2 of Autumn Watch, 2017. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09cbhmx

Our eyes are adapted to see well in the green and yellow colour spectrum. This is because we evolved in the woodland and forest environment. We ' belong' there.

Scientists have investigated the calming effect of being out side. They have proved that our salivery cortisol, which measures how stressed we are, is reduced when surrounded by greenery.

Also reduced is our blood pressure and heart rate. Amazingly our 'killer cells' that destroy free radicals and cancer causing cells, increase due to natural chemicals released by a woodland environment.

All this proves that natural therapy, like Rambler Whispering, has positive and long lasting  benefits , both mentally and physically.

Another interesting article promoting walking in nature.
